Representative Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress for Iowa’s 4th district, utilizes social media to shed light on ongoing legislative efforts and political perspectives. Feenstra has been active in Congress since 2021, following his tenure in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On April 17, 2025, Feenstra took to Twitter to express his concerns over the handling of the Farm Bill by Senate Democrats, reflecting on the previous year's events. He stated "Last year, Senate Democrats played politics with our farmers and refused to work with Republicans to pass the Farm Bill. It’s shameful. My @HouseAgGOP colleagues and I are working hard once again to get a new, five-year Farm Bill passed and signed into law by President Trump!”.

In a subsequent tweet posted on the same day, Feenstra turned his attention to tax legislation, highlighting the upcoming expiration of President Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. He noted the potential for increased taxes, remarking "At the end of this year, President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act expires. That means across-the-board tax hikes for American families, farmers workers, and small businesses. While Democrats want this tax increase to occur, Republicans are working to protect these tax cuts!”.

Feenstra also shared his stance on Second Amendment rights, promoting his legislative effort designed to protect these rights. His tweet read "The right of Iowans to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. My PROTECT the Second Amendment Act ensures that landlords or rental property managers who receive financial assistance at taxpayer expense cannot unlawfully restrict Americans from exercising their #2A rights."
