Randy Feenstra, who is currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district, took to social media on April 18, 2025, to address several pressing issues and offer assistance to his constituents. Since succeeding Steve King in 2021, Feenstra has been active in both state and national politics. Born in Hull, Iowa, in 1969, Feenstra has a long-standing connection to his home state, previously serving in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. He is an alumnus of Dordt University, where he graduated with a BA in 1991.

In a tweet from April 18, 2025, Feenstra conveyed support for families and businesses impacted by recent storms. He expressed, "My prayers are with the families and businesses impacted by last night’s storms." He also provided contact information for assistance, encouraging those affected to reach out to his office via phone or online.

Later that day, Feenstra highlighted his efforts to fund domestic manufacturing initiatives. In his post, he wrote, "This week, I helped restore funding for domestic manufacturing initiatives & joined the Iowa delegation in urging President Trump to approve federal disaster aid." He also expressed his commitment to the extension and permanence of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and aimed for year-round access to E15 fuel.

Feenstra further discussed the extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in a subsequent tweet. He emphasized the importance of this action, stating, "We have the strongest, most capable workforce in the world because of the grit and hard work of our citizens." He underscored the link between such economic measures and the protection of good-paying jobs in rural areas of Iowa's 4th district.

Randy Feenstra's ongoing advocacy demonstrates his focus on both local and national economic policies, marking a continuous push for legislative efforts that align with his constituents' needs.
