Randy Feenstra engages with Iowa's 4th district residents on #36CountyTour

Randy Feenstra, the Congressional representative of Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, recently shared updates on his activities within his constituency. In a series of tweets, Feenstra documented his ongoing #36CountyTour, highlighting his interactions and discussions with local communities, businesses, and development organizations.

On April 23, 2025, he extended gratitude to the City of Fonda, saying, "Thank you to the City of Fonda for being so welcoming yesterday!" Feenstra expressed enjoyment in exploring new housing developments and dining at Tavern 119. Stressing his commitment to representing families, farmers, businesses, and rural communities in Congress, Feenstra noted the significance of such interactions.

On the same morning, he began his day in Boone by speaking at the Boone County Economic Development Breakfast. He tweeted, "This morning, I kicked off another day of my #36CountyTour by speaking at the Boone County Economic Development Breakfast in Boone." At the event, Feenstra discussed his efforts to extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, pass the Farm Bill, advance his ACRE Act, and bolster domestic manufacturing.

Continuing his tour, Feenstra visited Mid-States Millwright & Builders in Nevada. Documenting this experience, he tweeted, "I continued my #36CountyTour w/ a tour of Mid-States Millwright & Builders in Nevada." He participated in a roundtable discussion emphasizing the need for tax extension, domestic manufacturing growth, and passing the Farm Bill. Feenstra underlined the crucial role of local businesses in sustaining community strength in Iowa’s 4th district.

Randy Feenstra, representing Iowa’s 4th district, succeeded Steve King in 2021 after serving in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. He was born in Hull, Iowa, in 1969, and graduated from Dordt University in 1991.
