Randy Feenstra, the U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th District, shared insights from his ongoing #36CountyTour via a series of tweets. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King in 2021 and has served since in the U.S. Congress, took the opportunity to highlight the development and local engagement across various counties.

On April 22, 2025, Feenstra tweeted about his visit to Storm Lake, which was impacted by recent storms. He noted, "For my 3rd stop on today’s #36CountyTour, I surveyed damage from last week’s storms that hit Storm Lake and discussed cleanup efforts with local officials." He also mentioned visiting Merrill Manufacturing, talking to the Anderson Family about the necessary repairs.

Later that day, he detailed his visit to Fonda, where he explored housing developments and community parks. Feenstra remarked, "I finished today’s #36CountyTour by checking out new housing developments and parks in Fonda." The congressman also enjoyed a meal at Tavern 119 and engaged in discussions on supporting small businesses, emphasizing that, "Our #IA04 communities are great places to live, work, retire, and raise a family!"

Concluding his tour on April 23, 2025, Feenstra highlighted meeting Adriana, a high school senior from West Bend-Mallard High School, who is interning at a local newspaper. He tweeted, "Today, during my trip to Fonda on my #36CountyTour, I met Adriana, a senior at West Bend-Mallard High School." Adriana plans to attend Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville in the upcoming fall.

Feenstra, who was born in Hull, Iowa, and currently resides there, has a long-standing connection with the state's community, having also served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021 before his tenure in Congress.
