Randy Feenstra emphasizes tax cuts extension and rural investment during his ongoing tour

Rep. Randy Feenstra, who has represented Iowa's 4th District in the U.S. Congress since 2021, shared insights from his #36CountyTour on social media. Feenstra, a native of Hull, Iowa, holds a BA from Dordt University and has a background in the Iowa Senate, where he served from 2009 to 2021. This tour highlights Feenstra's commitment to regional economic growth and advocacy for extending tax reforms.

On April 24, 2025, Feenstra reported that he commenced the day with a visit to Silgan Containers in Fort Dodge, employing 178 individuals. During this visit, he emphasized a roundtable on the necessity of extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to bolster domestic manufacturing, aiming to propel the economy forward.

Later on the same day, Feenstra continued the tour by visiting ARKO Labs in Jewell and Best Veterinary Solutions in Ellsworth. According to his post, the focus at these facilities was on innovative efforts to combat foreign animal diseases including bird flu and aMPV. He underscored the significance of farm security and animal health in Iowa's 4th District.

Finally, Feenstra's third stop led him to Eagle Grove where he met with Jeff, a State Farm Insurance agent. Feenstra recounted the discussion revolving around the extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, financial protection against severe weather, and stimulating investment in rural communities in Iowa's 4th District.

Randy Feenstra, born in Hull, Iowa, in 1969, is actively engaging with his constituents through these tours. His education credentials include a bachelor's degree from Dordt University, obtained in 1991.
