Rep. Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district, has addressed several issues through his recent social media activity. Serving in Congress since 2021, Feenstra has maintained a focus on community safety and engagement.

On April 24, 2025, he noted during a visit to Storm Lake, part of his #36CountyTour, that he witnessed damage from recent storms. Feenstra also highlighted his efforts in introducing legislation aimed at improving communications from the National Weather Service (NWS) to protect communities within the IA04 district from severe weather.

Later that day, Feenstra issued a tornado warning via social media for Harrison, Pottawattamie, and Shelby counties, urging residents to stay alert to weather developments.

On April 25, 2025, Feenstra shared his commitment to constituent engagement, stating that since his election to Congress, he pledged to visit all 36 counties in the district twice a year. He affirmed this commitment by meeting with Iowans in 12 different counties that week. Feenstra, who began serving as the congressional representative for Iowa's 4th District in 2021, is a longstanding advocate for his constituents, having also served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

Feenstra, born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, holds a BA from Dordt University and continues to reside in his birth town.
