Rep. Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th District, recently took to social media to express his support for former President Donald Trump’s energy and economic policies. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King in 2021, has been vocal about his stance on policies affecting his constituents, having experience from his previous service in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On April 26, 2025, Feenstra tweeted about his advocacy for American energy initiatives under Trump’s guidance, stating, "President Trump is working to unleash American energy dominance, and homegrown #IA04 biofuels are part of his America First energy strategy." He emphasized the need to allow E15 biofuel sales across the United States during the summer to reduce dependency on foreign oil and lower gas prices.

Later that same date, Feenstra addressed economic concerns via his post, linking economic growth to policies implemented during Trump’s administration. He tweeted, "When President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2017, our economy grew, unemployment fell & jobs were created." Feenstra stressed the importance of extending these tax cuts to sustain economic prosperity and avoid burdening families, farmers, workers, and businesses with increased taxes.

On April 28, 2025, Feenstra highlighted his engagement with Iowans, tweeting about his recent tour across counties in his district. He stated, "Last week, I met with Iowans in 12 different counties across #IA04 on my #36CountyTour." Emphasizing transparency and accessibility to his constituents, Feenstra shared a link to his weekly column which provides further details on his interactions across his district.

Randy Feenstra, born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, graduated from Dordt University in 1991 and continues to reside in Hull.
