In a recent series of tweets, Iowa U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra, current representative for Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, provided updates on his activities and legislative perspectives. A native of Hull, Iowa, and a Dordt University graduate, Feenstra continues to focus on local and national issues in his political career.

On April 28, 2025, Feenstra reported on his visit to the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown as part of his "#36CountyTour." He described the visit positively, mentioning a tour of the facilities, meetings with staff, and expressing gratitude towards the veterans: "Last Wednesday, as part of my #36CountyTour, I visited the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. I had a phenomenal tour of their facilities, met with incredible staff, and spoke with countless veterans, thanking these American heroes for their service."

Later that day, Feenstra commented on immigration enforcement, attributing recent progress to President Trump's administration: "In well under 100 days, President Trump restored order at our border. It turns out that enforcing the laws on the books actually works."

In another tweet from the same day, Feenstra addressed economic concerns regarding the "death tax," stating that it imposes an undue burden on family farms and businesses. He advocated for the extension of measures from President Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to provide relief: "The death tax is an unfair burden on our family farms and small businesses. Iowans shouldn’t be forced to sell their farm or business to pay Uncle Sam while grieving the loss of a loved one. By extending and strengthening President Trump’s TCJA, we can deliver death tax relief."

Feenstra's congressional efforts reflect his ongoing commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of his constituents, drawing on his extensive experience in governmental roles.
