Randy Feenstra, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, recently shared his viewpoints on various subjects through a series of tweets. Feenstra, born in Hull, Iowa, and a graduate of Dordt University, has been an advocate for American agriculture and manufacturing policies, as well as honoring those who serve the community.

On May 2, 2025, Feenstra emphasized the importance of outcompeting China, opening new export markets, protecting crop insurance, and guarding the country against foreign animal diseases, by passing a five-year Farm Bill. In his words, "We must outcompete China, open new export markets, protect crop insurance, and keep our country safe from foreign animal diseases." He asserted that this initiative will bolster American agriculture.

Continuing his outreach, Feenstra visited Maintainer Corporation in Sheldon as part of his #36CountyTour on May 3, 2025. He advocated for extending the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act, promoting stronger investments in domestic manufacturing, and stated, "Provisions like immediate expensing will create jobs & support companies like Maintainer."

Also on May 3, Feenstra acknowledged President Trump's designation of the weekend as National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. He expressed his reverence for firefighters who lost their lives, noting, "Today and always, we honor and remember those heroic firefighters who have lost their lives protecting our communities."

Feenstra, having served in both the U.S. Congress and the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, continues to engage with his constituents and honor those contributions to the community.
