Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, has recently shared his views and achievements on social media. Feenstra, who replaced Steve King in Congress and previously served in the Iowa Senate, provides insights into his legislative priorities and accomplishments.

On May 5, 2025, Feenstra reflected on the first 100 days of President Donald Trump's term. He stated that "April 29th marked 100 days of promises kept under President Donald Trump." He highlighted areas such as border security, energy dominance, government efficiency, and economic investment as priorities that have benefited families, farmers, workers, and small businesses.

In another post on the same day at 14:08 UTC, Feenstra announced the reopening of a local postal facility after an extended closure. He expressed satisfaction with the development by stating "Following repeated requests by our office, I’m glad that the Charter Oak Post Office has finally reopened after more than a year of closure." He emphasized that Iowans deserve access to postal services funded by their taxes.

Later on May 5 at 15:27 UTC, Feenstra addressed tax policy issues affecting family-owned farms and small businesses. In collaboration with colleagues Rep. Greg Murphy and Jay Timmons from NAM (National Association of Manufacturers), he argued against what he terms as an unfair fiscal burden: "The death tax unfairly targets our family farms and small businesses and punishes generations of hard work and resilience." The op-ed advocates for relief measures to support these vital sectors.

Randy Feenstra was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently resides there. A graduate of Dordt University with a BA obtained in 1991, he continues to focus on policies impacting his constituents.
