Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, shared several updates on social media recently. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, has been active in addressing local community needs and national political agendas.
On May 6, 2025, Feenstra announced that his office will host two passport fairs next week in Sioux City and Council Bluffs. "Next week, our office will host 2 passport fairs in Sioux City & Council Bluffs from 9 AM - 4 PM. The Council Bluffs Passport Fair will be held on Tuesday May 13th & the Sioux City Passport Fair will be held on Wednesday May 14th." These events are scheduled to take place from 9 AM to 4 PM.
In another post made later that day, Feenstra expressed gratitude towards nurses across the nation and particularly those in his district. "Today, we recognize & thank our nation's nurses, especially those in #IA04, for their commitment to our families & communities." He acknowledged their long hours of work dedicated to patient care and recovery.
Feenstra also highlighted Republican efforts under Chairman August Pfluger within the Republican Study Committee to advance former President Trump's America First agenda. "Under Chairman @RepPfluger, @RepublicanStudy is growing & Republicans are working to deliver President Trump's full America First agenda." He emphasized initiatives such as extending the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act and boosting American energy production as part of these efforts.
Randy Feenstra was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently resides there. He graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
