Rep. Randy Feenstra, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, recently shared several messages on social media regarding significant events and initiatives.

On May 6, 2025, Feenstra congratulated Sac County Sheriff Ken McClure on his retirement after a distinguished career spanning 37 years in law enforcement. Feenstra expressed gratitude for McClure's dedication to keeping families safe and communities secure.

Later that day, at 18:55 UTC, Feenstra acknowledged National Teacher Appreciation Day by thanking teachers and educators within Iowa’s 4th district and across the country. He praised their role in supporting children and helping the next generation achieve their full potential.

In another message posted at 21:13 UTC on the same day, Feenstra highlighted National Foster Care Day by expressing gratitude towards foster families. He also mentioned his legislative efforts; specifically, a bill he introduced in March aimed at connecting more foster children with caring families had passed unanimously in the House. This initiative seeks to ensure every child finds a loving home.

Randy Feenstra was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and continues to reside there. Before his tenure in Congress beginning in 2021, he served as an Iowa State Senator from 2009 to 2021. He is an alumnus of Dordt University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
