Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, has shared several updates via social media regarding his ongoing initiatives and positions on key issues. Previously serving in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, Feenstra replaced Steve King in Congress and continues to focus on matters significant to his constituents.
On May 6, 2025, Rep. Feenstra expressed solidarity with Israel amidst ongoing tensions. He stated, "Israel is our partner and our ally. The United States stands with Israel against vicious Hamas terrorists — now and always."
The following day, on May 7, he announced the reopening of the Charter Oak Post Office after its closure for over a year. He tweeted, "ICYMI: I’m glad that our office could get the Charter Oak Post Office reopened after more than a year of it being closed. Iowans deserve to be able to visit the post office at their convenience. Delivering for our rural #IA04 communities remains a top priority for me."
Additionally, on May 7, Rep. Feenstra highlighted an event involving veterans traveling to Washington D.C., sharing that his Regional Director participated in sending off the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight from Fort Dodge Regional Airport. He remarked, "This morning, our Regional Director — Jim — helped send off the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight from Fort Dodge Regional Airport. Bringing WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials honoring their service is the least we can do as a grateful nation."
Randy Feenstra was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently resides there at age 54. A graduate of Dordt University with a BA earned in 1991, he remains committed to serving his district.
