Randy Feenstra voices support for police and praises trade agreements

Rep. Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 4th district, shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets on May 12, 2025.

In a tweet posted at 19:00 UTC, Rep. Feenstra expressed gratitude towards law enforcement officers, stating "Today and always, we recognize and thank our police and law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day to protect our families and communities." He affirmed his ongoing support for these professionals with the hashtag #BackTheBlue.

Later at 19:21 UTC, he discussed trade agreements under President Trump's administration. According to Feenstra's tweet, "Under President Trump, our country is negotiating strong trade agreements that benefit our families, farmers, workers, and small businesses." He emphasized the importance of fair deals for Americans to strengthen the nation.

At 21:09 UTC on the same day, Feenstra highlighted tax relief efforts. In his message, he stated that "Tax relief means more money in the pockets of our families, farmers, workers, and small business owners." He mentioned upcoming votes with his colleagues from @WaysandMeansGOP aimed at delivering this relief.

Randy Feenstra has been representing Iowa's 4th District since 2021 after succeeding Steve King. Prior to this role in Congress, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and an alumnus of Dordt University with a BA degree obtained in 1991, Feenstra continues to reside in Hull.
