Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, recently shared his views on legislative matters through a series of tweets. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King and has previously served in the Iowa Senate, expressed concerns over California's vehicle and energy policies and highlighted his support for small businesses and tax relief initiatives.

On May 12, 2025, Rep. Randy Feenstra stated that he and his House GOP colleagues voted to overturn three Biden-era waivers granted to California regarding electric vehicle mandates. He emphasized the importance of preventing California’s policies from spreading nationwide for the prosperity of the nation. "Two weeks ago, my @HouseGOP colleagues and I voted to overturn three Biden-era waivers granted to California to implement EV mandates."

In another tweet posted on May 12, 2025, Feenstra reflected on National Small Business Week by acknowledging the significant role small businesses play in the economy and communities. He reiterated his commitment to supporting job creators by advocating for lower taxes and reduced government intervention. "Last week, during National Small Business Week, we celebrated the contributions that our small businesses make to our economy and our communities."

Later that day, Feenstra announced that the Ways and Means Committee would be marking up President Trump's "One, Big, Beautiful Bill," which aims to provide tax relief across various sectors including families and manufacturers. He anticipated Democratic opposition but remained confident in Republican efforts to pass these tax cuts. "This week, @WaysandMeansGOP will mark up President Trump's 'One, Big, Beautiful Bill,' which delivers tax relief for American families..."

Randy Feenstra was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 where he currently resides. He graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
