On Monday, March 17, former Moc-Floyd Valley High School standout Nik Wede’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at Historic Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 17 at 3:40 p.m. at Historic Simmons Field against Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.
