The Dordt University Music Department will host a guest recital by tenor Barrett Radziun on Friday, September 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
The recital will include songs and arias by Britten, Faure, Schubert, Bolcom, Ives, Dring, and Poulenc.
Tenor Barrett Radziun has performed widely throughout the United States, meriting critical acclaim for his performances in opera, oratorio, art song, and early music. Radziun currently teaches voice and diction at Texas A&M University - Commerce. He holds degrees from the University of North Texas (DMA), Bard College Conservatory of Music (MM), and University of Northwestern – St. Paul (BM). In 2015, Radziun was a vocal fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center, and he has since performed with the Dallas Bach Society, Orpheus Chamber Singers, Verdigris Ensemble, South Dakota Chorale, Incarnatus, and the American Baroque Opera Company. Highlights from the 2022-23 season include tenor soloist in Handel's Messiah at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas and four concert programs with Orpheus Chamber Singers.
