Iowa Lakes Community College has selected Kyle Norris to fill the Executive Dean position on the Emmetsburg Campus following an extensive search and interview process. Norris will begin his new role at Iowa Lakes on July 11, following board approval.
Norris has been employed at Iowa Lakes since 2001 and currently serves as a Biology Professor and Head Athletic Trainer. Norris holds a bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University and a master’s degree from Indiana University.
“Kyle has been an integral member of the Iowa Lakes faculty and has been an active participant, serving in leadership roles for various boards and organizations throughout the Iowa Lakes region. His drive, compassion for students, and organizational outlook will be a tremendous asset as he steps into this new leadership role at Iowa Lakes,” said Scott Stokes.
Stokes is currently the Executive Dean of the Estherville Campus and will begin his new role as President starting July 1.
