Randy Feenstra discusses policy initiatives supporting manufacturing and agriculture

Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district, shared insights on his recent activities through social media posts. Known for his focus on tax policies and rural community support, Feenstra's latest engagements emphasize manufacturing sector growth, national security concerns related to China, and efforts to repeal the death tax.

On December 10, 2024, Feenstra reported meeting with members of the National Association of Manufacturers. He highlighted discussions on his work within the Ways and Means Committee to "advance pro-growth tax policies that benefit our manufacturing sector." Feenstra emphasized the importance of local manufacturing companies in strengthening rural communities in Iowa's 4th district. "This afternoon, I met with members of @ShopFloorNAM to discuss my work on @WaysandMeansGOP to advance pro-growth tax policies that benefit our manufacturing sector."

Later that day, he expressed support for legislation aimed at countering security threats from China. The SHIELD Against CCP Act proposes establishing a working group focused on various security threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party. Feenstra stated the necessity of confronting these challenges head-on. "I just voted for @RepDaleStrong's SHIELD Against CCP Act."

On December 11, 2024, Feenstra addressed the issue of the death tax and its impact on family farms and businesses in rural Iowa. He underscored his commitment to repealing this tax as part of his efforts to preserve generational continuity in farming traditions and business ownership. "In rural #IA04, our farmers and businesses take great pride in passing traditions on to the next generation."
