Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, has been active on social media discussing key issues affecting his constituents and the nation. On December 11, 2024, he shared updates regarding agriculture, legislative efforts for family leave, and regulatory challenges faced by farmers.

In a post made on December 11, 2024, Rep. Feenstra highlighted his District Director Emily's attendance at the "106th Annual Meeting of the @IowaFarmBureau." He noted that "President Brent Johnson — who is from #IA04 — spoke about the urgent need to reduce our growing ag trade deficit & pass the Farm Bill." Emphasizing collaboration, he added, "Together, we will fight for our farmers!"

Later that day, Feenstra addressed workers' rights by introducing legislation to aid small businesses in offering paid family and medical leave (PFML). He stated that PFML serves as "a lifeline for workers when life throws curveballs," adding that his legislation would enable small businesses to "keep more of their money" to invest in their workforce. "By letting small businesses keep more of their money," he remarked, "they can invest in their workers and thrive!"

In another tweet from December 11, Rep. Feenstra called for the repeal of California’s Proposition 12 mandates on hog farmers. He criticized the policy for causing an increase in pork prices within California and warned of its potential nationwide impact. Fortunately, according to him, a provision included in the Farm Bill by @HouseAgGOP aims to overturn this regulation. He stated: "California’s #Prop12 mandates on our hog farmers must be repealed."
