Randy Feenstra, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, recently shared his views on various policy issues through a series of tweets. Feenstra, who has been vocal about tax reforms and fiscal responsibility, also emphasized the importance of supporting American agriculture.

On December 3, 2024, Rep. Randy Feenstra tweeted about his stance on taxation concerning asset transfers after death. He stated, "The part of our tax code that taxes the transfer of assets — like farmland — when a family member dies should be shredded. We must #AxeTheDeathTax to protect our family farms and small businesses!" This reflects his advocacy for abolishing what is commonly referred to as the "death tax."

Later that day, he addressed agricultural policy in another tweet. At 02:04:46 UTC, he remarked on the significance of legislative support for agriculture by saying "Passing the Farm Bill means strengthening American agriculture, supporting our farmers and producers, and keeping China away from our farmland!" His comments highlight concerns over foreign ownership of American agricultural land.

In a subsequent post at 14:16:08 UTC on December 3rd, Feenstra expressed concerns regarding national fiscal policies. He asserted that "We’re spending and borrowing money at a reckless and unsustainable pace." He further emphasized the need for budget balancing and reducing government expenditure by stating, "We need to balance our budget and end wasteful government spending to get our fiscal house in order!"
