Rep. Randy Feenstra, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various topics of national and local interest. The tweets cover issues ranging from data privacy concerns to political engagement and agricultural challenges.

On December 6, 2024, Rep. Feenstra commented on the D.C. Court of Appeals' decision regarding TikTok, stating that "TikTok’s parent company – ByteDance – is largely controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, which directly exposes Americans to Chinese data collection, surveillance, and propaganda." He expressed approval of the court's ruling that prevents TikTok from "spying on Americans."

Later that day, he highlighted his meeting with Jack Sayers, a newly elected member of the Mills County Board of Supervisors. In his tweet at 18:35 UTC, Feenstra noted that "it’s great to see young people getting involved in government," expressing optimism about collaborating with Sayers for the benefit of Mills County residents.

In another tweet posted at 19:23 UTC on December 6th, Rep. Feenstra addressed an ongoing issue affecting agriculture nationwide—the outbreak of bird flu. He mentioned his previous call for action from the USDA and noted that "over 110 million birds have now been impacted by bird flu." He expressed hope that strategic initiatives would help protect poultry flocks while reassuring consumers about milk safety.
